99.999999% of the audience is not going to notice those little differences in the tone of your guitar or voice. Most of that can be adjusted by EQ. You just don't want noise or no signal!

Bought the NUX based on your video - I love it. No noise issues whatsoever, and so far works perfectly.

About tip 2 - cheap equipment means that you can get high chanse of getting defective one or manufacturer can change something and all products in some series can get a huge issues. I have NUX Mighty Plug Pro MP3 that has incredible amount of noise and high freq hiss on some amps - and it is a problem of all 2023 made NUX MP3. And also I bought XLR Lekato system that you recommended couple of years ago - and it was totally unusable - it distorts sound a lot (I mean, it works like overdrive pedal with any mic, even "classic" SM58) and it loosing signal every minute - but my friend bought same one and his XLR Lekato works great. Best statistics that I have on hands is Ammoon AM-5G: lots, literally tons of my friends have it and it kinda 1-2 defective ones for 40-50 grean ones. Also, I use Ammoon AM-5G for about 3+ years, and all ammoon systems that I bought first, started getting problems with battery one by one, after 3 years of kinda everyday operation. Repair was easy and quick, inside this system was a standard lithium battery that costs me 4$ in local store (and I ordered few more on aliexpress for 2$ each). 2 drops of solder - and my Ammoon AM-5G became as good as new.

Lekato system (I have the same but with M-Vave logo on it) that you note as 1 channel only has 10+ channels. It just dont have channel switch button and it needs to go to pairing mode to sync transmitter and receiver channels, it works like low-latency bluetooth and uses same frequencys. I use it as a backup IEM for my band due to its incredibly small size and when we used 5 pairs at one time on different channels (different AUX mixes on Behringer XR18) - it works pretty fine. Only problem is that its channels kinda wide - so, if you use 2-3 and more pairs at same time - in my cases, all 2.4Ghz Wifi routers became totally unusable, I mean totally, wifi connection works about 5-6 seconds and then ipad looses connection to router (and it was external D-Link, not internal router in XR18), I tried to switch router channels - no effect. When I disable 3 of 5 transmitters and left with only 2 AUX IEM (divided between 5 receivers) - only then I got fine wifi connection to my XR18. Biggest cons of this system is lacking of any input gain indication or input gain controls. And 12ms latency. M-Vave has 5.8 Ghz IEM system like this (but it still not on their website), a bit larger body size, it literally kills every 5.8Ghz guitar wireless on stage - and has about 28ms latency (yep, this is very bad).

I sold my nux one. It just randomly dropped too much

Just bought an Xvive U4 for using it with my Quad Cortex through the head phone jack, and is noisy and the guitar and vocals sound distorted (I use the Cortex for guitar and vocals) If I use one of the main outs it sounds ok, but of course I need that output for the front house sound...Im inclined to return it. This is my first wireless system.

I got the Lekato UHF for my guitar thanks to your video back in 2021! Still rocking. Since I wanted something "better" got the NUX 5.8 and gave the Lekato to a friend. Now the NUX are super noisy at home (can't record!!), and at church (extremely small - think 25 ppl church) I get lots of noise at like 15 ft away from the receiver LOL c'est la vie ¯\_(°°)_/¯

Curious to get your thoughts on the BLX24r (H9 band) mic system for a Colorado Springs band playing Denver pretty often. Shure frequency finder shows available freq’s in both cities, would you run it if you didn’t have cash for SLXD? … it’s weird cuz our IEM’s are the PSM300’s (J13 band) and show 0 freq’s available in Denver but (knock on wood) but they’ve worked almost flawlessly in Denver thus far

I’ve learned how to build my budget IEM rack and go wireless with instruments and mics in my band, plus I’ve just added backing tracks to my duo group using Stage Trax. Great video Scott. I have the same unit but I find the audio a bit lacking, things sound very muddy and super mid-focused. Guitars sound great through FOH but crappy in my ears. I've got Westone monitors. Any tips?

Since you were so helpful with my earlier question in regards to scanning frequencies, I thought I'd ask you another if that's okay. I ended up buying the Phenyx Pro 52-b, thinking it had the built-in scanner. But I guess that's the next model up? My question is, would it be worth returning an upgrading to the one that does have the scanner? I should point out that there are really no other wireless instruments in the band I'm playing with. It's only a concern of frequency interruptions from cell phones, Wi-Fi, etc. do you think I'll be safe just finding a frequency and going with it?

Hi, Scott. I’ve learned so much watching your videos. So I just wanted to say THANK YOU first and foremost. A few months ago I built two 10-U rigs for live sound for my wedding band. I’m using the Behringer x32 for my digital mixer/audio interface. I purchased four Sennheiser EW IEM G4 systems. They’re connected to a four channel antenna combiner from RF Venue. The first and only one of the four IEM systems has this terrible error. When I set the frequency and unmute the transmitter, the receiver on the battery pack shows the right side of the AF skyrocketing and there is an awful, persistent high pitch noise I can’t get rid of. I’ve tried dozens of open frequencies, changed cables, used a different battery pack for the transmitter, messed with the squelch, nothing has worked. Can you think of any solutions with your extensive use with wireless systems? Thank you.

Any of you know a wireless system that works for keyboards/digital pianos? Smoothhound distorts badly... Wonder why.

Have you tested these against the senhizer Omni antenna ? I looking at adding something for my wireless mics but also use on the alto wireless speaker system. Not sure what setup I want to go with.

Love the MBeat, actually im on a big Live Band and yesterday just before the Show we had a problem with the power supply. It was turning on but not leaving the Inicial Logo, So no Play, Stop, Playlist, nothing. But still light up and have power. Sundely i tried to put my Powerbank of my phone ant guess what, it works, so for now, 5 months after, the power supply dead on me, not enough power on the Ac adapter i guess. Just ordered another on amazon. Ugreen. But anyway is a good product, to bad the power suply is not stronger. Now i ordered another Mbeat for backup Spare, we never know and also the power supply extra..Cheers and nice video. ;)

A few years ago I sold the guitars I had due to my health. (Kidney transplant) Three years later I miss playing guitar and seeing this wonderful product has made me want to play.
